HOW WE REVIEW

Where does a lab report come from?

A good result is worthless if nobody knows where the sample came from. So we check the origin first and the numbers second.

Evidence first, rating second

  2. 02
Check the originIs the report real, does the batch match?
  3. 03
    CalculateOnly verified data counts.

We count reports from Janoshik and Analiza, even if the shop commissioned the test itself. What matters is that every report can be verified with the lab and matches what is sold.

01

Secure the report

We store the original with link, date and lab.

02

Check authenticity

Using the lab's verification code or by asking the lab, we confirm the report really comes from there.

03

Check the match

Product, amount, batch and date must match the shop's listing.

04

Note the limits

Which method, what was measured and what was not? High purity does not mean a product is safe.

05

Double-check

We only publish a bad result after our team has reviewed it.

06

Publish

We calculate the rating, the original stays available. Shop responses are shown separately.

What a measurement does not show

HPLC shows how pure a sample is. Mass spectrometry shows whether it is the right substance at all. Neither shows whether a product is sterile or contains endotoxins. PeptidScout replaces neither a lab nor medical advice.
